Stock Selection List from 22-Sep-23

The daily list is good for finding stocks that have just started rising and so there is room for more rise in the immediate future. They can also give second chance to exit if market is not in good shape. As proven time and again, these also help finding stocks early on before they take off. Some examples of that are Justdial (120%), Somanycera (200%), Adanigas (350%), CGCL (150%), Saregama (300%), Prajind (300%), etc.

This day's primary list:
company symbol today's close price % rise today avg volume avg. turnover in cr.
GULFPETRO 48.7 11.1 266311 1.3
HUDCO 85.8 18.8 13262943 113.8
KOTYARK 630.4 3 15776 0.99
KRISHANA 472.5 8.4 53202 2.51
MADHAV 52.3 5.6 67180 0.35
OSWALAGRO 33.4 10 263441 0.88
PARSVNATH 10.3 19.2 799173 0.82
PFOCUS 98 4.4 251175 2.46
SPENCERS 75.2 9.1 436580 3.28

Note:
I have removed the avg. turnover >2cr filter as the list is small in this falling market. Yesterday also 9 stocks showed up in total. Volumes would be lower in falling market anyway, so the turnover limit need to be lowered if we want to find equivalently good stocks. But the same limit actually gives very strong stocks that can sustain through the more selling times. We need to understand the pressures of selling how the stock is able to overcome it before we realize it is strong in momentum.

Today market displayed some break from falling. ST line of nifty turned red. Mid and small cap indices slowed near to previous recent low of last week huge one day fall. It happens. It can bounce a little and still try to breach the low, afresh with new energy. Or slow down again. With each slow down, we will find some stock or other showing in this list and gaining momentum. Ultimately best times to book profits, partial if not all, are when the gain day in the market is broad based, that the list here gets huge. The break days in fall times are good for identifying potential opportunities before the next bull run. But some fundamental filtering is always better.
