The daily lists are good for finding stocks that have just started rising and so there is room for more rise in the immediate future. They can also give second chance to exit if market is not in good shape. As proven time and again, these also help finding stocks early on before they take off. Some examples of that are Justdial (120%), Somanycera (200%), Adanigas (350%), CGCL (150%), Saregama (300%), Prajind (300%), etc.
Important note: No stock goes up a lot without first showing up in either of the two lists here.

Note:
Besides the geopolitical news, there was a news lurking in Yahoo! Finance all this time. I didn't bother seeing it as sometimes there isn't useful info. there. There is rate hike in Japan that caused Japan's Yen to spike against other currencies as other countries are trying to reduce rates. This sudden jump caused margin calls that spooked the markets, is the matter of the story. Now the attention might turn to the conflicts. Once the markets become week they turn their attention to such news more often.
Today our markets staged a dead cat bounce in the morning which held with struggle, up and downs in between, till afternoon. From 1pm, as usual, the fall started and continued till eod of the day.
Ola electric IPO had a bad time. They wait too long to time for peak of the markets for selling their stake in the name of IPO by getting more value and they end up timing bad. Moreover it is yet to make profits. While other decent companies are listing after demonstrating profits for successive years with good ROE, what is the hurry for listing in just 3 years of incorporation showing only losses in all those 3 years? Usually these kind of early birds, despite gaining from the govt. subsidies get hammered. This reminds me of Suzlon which was such example but nowadays its fortunes seem to be changing, atleast in the markets' view.
