Analysis of Performance
Net gain on capital in scenario 1: 0.5% (gain)
Net gain on capital in scenario 2: -0.5% (loss)
Net gain on capital in scenario 3: 3.6% (gain)
Net gain on capital in scenario 4: 6.0% (gain)
For details of each scenario, you can go through the explanation given for 20th August list review.
I have noted VSTTILLERS, PERSISTENT and five other stocks for short term trading for taking chances at making Jackpot gains. But day by day they are rising, one or the other. I am not able to select just one among them because I am not sure what criteria to use. Then PERSISTENT went up. Granules had pullback and it also rose 8% immediately the next day. LASA is another stock that keeps going up with 5% UC everyday. For such stock you need to place a buy order at UC the very first time you decide, before 9.07AM. IOLCP was there till yesterday which I looked at yesterday as one of the few remaining options. It jumped today.
Jackpot trading idea is basically to latch onto fast moving stocks like the way TIPSINDLTD moved recently and I wrote about it here yesterday. That is we try trading those stocks for short term but not sell them as long as they don't make sharp pullbacks or waste time. Sometime we hit a jackpot where the stock rises perfectly without much pullback or wasting several days in between rises. If we hit a couple of jackpots every quarter, the capital would double, more than compensating for little losses sometimes.
As such I am exploring several ways of trading. Jackpots, simple short term, medium term and long term SIP. Each requires specific set of stocks. They may not have common stocks. Their order of reliability is in ascending order as I listed based on my practical experience.
